Bob Barker

Bob Barker, or Robert William Barker, was born on December 12, 1923, in Darrington, Washington. Bob has hosted game shows such as The Family Game and Truth or Consequences but is most famous for being the host of the Price is Right. He started the Price is Right in 1972. He is an outspoken member of animal rights and ends most episodes of The Price is Right by saying,"Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered." The only other person to be in entertainment longer than him was Vin Scully who has been a sports announcer for 55 years. Bob Barker is the oldest person to ever host a game show. In 1996, Barker played himself in the comedy Happy Gilmore where he beat up Adam Sandler.
