Vanna White is best known for being the hostess of Wheel of Fortune.
Her first television appearance was on the Price is Right where she was one of the four to "come on down". She never did make it on stage.
She began her job as letter-turner on Wheel of Fortune on December 13, 1982, two years after The Price is Right.
Her autobiography, Vanna Speaks, was a best-seller.
In 1992 Guinness Records she was most frequent clapper that is a TV personality.
Weird Al wrote a song called "Stuck in a closet With Vanna White.
Her co-host on Wheel of Fortune is Pat Sajak.
